Terms of service

You must be at least 18 years of age to use romp. By creating an account or using our services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may not use romp. under any circumstances.

Accounts found to belong to users under 18 will be terminated immediately and all associated data will be deleted.

Access to romp. Pro and all paid features requires that you be 18 years of age or older. We verify age via date of birth collected at account creation. Misrepresenting your age to access Pro features constitutes a material breach of these terms and will result in immediate account termination without refund.

Use romp. to find great parks and connect with other dog parents. Don't use it to harass others, scrape data, or impersonate anyone. Be a good human.

You own the posts, reviews, photos, and check-ins you share — but you grant romp. a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the app and related materials. We may remove content that violates our community guidelines.

By posting check-ins, reviews, or photos on romp., you grant ROOST Creative LLC a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and sublicense that content. Where applicable, this content may be anonymized before distribution through the Open Data API or other public channels.

You retain ownership of your original content. You may delete your posts and photos at any time, which removes them from public display within the app. Anonymized, aggregated data derived from your content may continue to be used for park rankings and the Open Data API.

romp. Pro is an optional paid subscription billed monthly ($4.99) or annually ($39.99) by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; Pro access continues through the end of your current billing period.

Refunds are governed by our refund policy — a 14-day refund window applies to monthly and annual charges.

romp. provides a free, read-only Open Data API for anonymized park information. By using the API, you agree to:

• Attribution under the CC BY 4.0 license
• A rate limit of 1,000 requests per day
• No scraping or automated bulk collection beyond the API endpoints

The API is provided as-is with no SLA or uptime guarantee. romp. may revoke API access at any time for abuse, excessive usage, or violations of these terms.

Park location data on romp. is sourced from OpenStreetMap and is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). romp. community data — including check-ins, ratings, and reviews — is proprietary to ROOST Creative LLC and is not covered by the ODbL.

romp. and the romp. wordmark are trademarks of ROOST Creative LLC. All rights reserved. You may not use the romp. name, logo, or wordmark without prior written permission.

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or threaten the safety of the community.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of romp. shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered in Shelby County, Tennessee, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

romp. is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep the app accurate and available, but we can't guarantee park information is always current — always check conditions before you visit.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ROOST Creative LLC and romp. are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including injuries, lost property, or interactions with other users or animals at parks. You use romp. at your own risk.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
